Parker Hein is the lead chemist at NV Cann Labs. He attended Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, where he graduated with a Bachelors in Biochemistry. While there, he was an active member of the Chemistry Club, taking part in outreach programs to get elementary and middle school children interested in science.
He first entered the cannabis industry in 2015 when he moved to Las Vegas. He initially worked at a cultivation and quickly became interested in the science behind the plant. While at the cultivation, he spent most of his time in the propagation department, in charge of the mother plants and cloning. Eventually, he decided that working in a lab was would be much more appealing.
He began working for NV Cann in 2016. Parker was able to bring some experience and expertise from the cultivation side into the laboratory environment. He’s been especially helpful and knowledgeable when consulting clients about how cultivation methodologies effect sample test results.
Parker is also a member of the American Chemical Society (ACS) and has been accredited by the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB). In the lab, he helps ensure NV Cann maintains ethical practices and continues to be an example to others in the industry.
In his spare time, Parker is also an avid gamer and fanatic of World of Warcraft.
